Just a few pieces of art leftover from this year that i havent posted till now. nothing fancy.

Recharging my "Izm"

been taking a while off of the seriousness to do a little thing i call "recharging my izm."
Sometimes i think its very important to step aside from the art, and just lift your head to look around and remember the things that made you want to do art in the first place. So i activated a Tumblr account (to which the URL will remain anonymous) and loaded it up with a bunch of the things that i feel motivate me, and feed my "ism." If youd like to take a brief trip through my mind, here are just a few tidbids...

Sketching around

Just some quick Nicolai Fechin studies (using a model from my favorite clothing site, who was modelling winter beanies, but trying to stick close to the Fechin style). Also a fun figure drawing, ink, color, and text study. The Cropped image makes a pretty cool (albeit strange) desktop image.... i mean... if anyone were to be into that sort of thing... either way, hope you enjoy!

Super Late Night Sketches

woke up at 3:23 and couldnt sleep, so i figured id do a few 15-20 min sketches. didnt realize how long its been since i just did something loose and fun without rendering... for some sort of fear of being unaccepted or something, lol.

Comic 80% done...

i mean, its 3 of 5 pages. i guess thats 80%? or maybe like 70.5345% repeating decimal number? Anyway, its been a fun experience so far. Definitely something i want to do again in the future, and build my experience!

A few Baddies

Last weekend i decided to bury myself under some paper and some pencils, as opposed to my usual wacom tablet and pen, and digital ink. It was great getting back to my roots in pencil! hope you enjoy!

Blowpop....

Yes Yes, im aware that she looks like Nicki Minaj O_O thats cuz she IS niki minaj....with a gun... in my story. Im having fun doing the comic! but id be lying if i said that i dont miss getting in there and flat out concepting something! ahhh. so, this character Blowpop, is one of the 5 girls in my story, the "Brains" of the operation, she specializes in long range weaponry, has her favorite sniper rifle which she's given the name "The Facepoppa." lol. anyway. enjoy!
